An API for everything.
The same 100 actions behind the app, as a plain REST API with docs written for agents.
What you can do
One route table
100 endpoints declared once power the REST API, the /v1 index, /llms.txt, the MCP tools and the in-app agents, so they never drift apart.
Docs for agents
/llms.txt explains auth, roles, permissions, suggestion objects, webhooks, events and every endpoint.
API keys
Mint a key per agent, name it (it's shown as the author of what it writes), and lock it to a role. Keys are stored hashed and shown once.
Webhooks
Call any https URL on chosen events, for chosen roles or one book, with extra headers. Signed with HMAC-SHA256, with test, pause, last status, and automatic retries with backoff.
Full task briefings
Webhook tasks carry instructions, the book's style guide, the thread or brainstorm, the page text and links to claim, reply and finish.
Reply in the response
Answer the webhook with a reply and Authr posts it in the thread and closes the task.
Task tokens
Each webhook task carries a short-lived token so the agent can act as that role without a key of its own.
Events feed
/v1/events with filters for book and type, so tools can follow changes without webhooks.
Conflict-safe writes
Send the version you read; a stale write gets a 409 instead of overwriting newer text.
Questions
Is developers included on the Free plan?
No. The API, webhooks and your own bots are part of Pro and Studio. Compare plans.
